ASUS is going to file a counter suit against the claims of Gigabyte Technology which claims that ASUS Energy Processing Unit isn’t a technological change but numbers marketing” and “cheating end users.

In a Tom’s Hardware story, the following passage appeared: “‘How can you believe it? Everything [Asus] say are lies,’ said Gigabyte.”

ASUS is not taking it lightly and going to file a suit against Gigabyte and against those also who help in spreading the rumor.

I don’t know who is speaking the truth and who is lying.

Microsoft and Yahoo Review Talks

On 3rd of May Microsoft Steve Ballmer, chief executive officer of Microsoft issues statement that they have withdrawn its proposal to acquire Yahoo! Inc.

But now it seem that they are in a reconciliation mode as they have resume talks again not for acquisition of Yahoo but for involving in transaction with Yahoo for expanding its online services and advertising business.

But no one has a clue as to what will be the outcome of this talk.

I don’t know why Microsoft is so much interested in Yahoo.

Handset Sales Decline in US, RIM from Blackberry Climb Upwards

It’s the result of global food crisis or rising oil prices I don’t know but its true that the sale of handsets in US has fallen down by 22 22 percent. Motorola somehow succeeded in maintaining its supremacy by notching up the top slot (which it might not capture next year), however its share fell to 27 percent. The surprise debut was made by RIM Blackberry which ousted Sanyo from the G-5.

Billionare oilman T. Boone Pickens is going to invest $2 billion in building a 4,000-megawatt wind farm in Texas which may be the biggest in world. In the beginning,  the wind farm will generate 1,000 megawatts of electricity which he plans to expand to 4000 megawatts by the end of 2015.

Its going to benefit those who own big tract of land in Texas and are willing to give their land for this purpose as each turbine will generate about $20,000 a year in royalty income but they will not be getting the electricity free of cost.

Thanks God there is someone who is offering a helping hand in this oil crisis United States.
